Dr. Elisheva Assouline is a licensed clinical psychologist practicing in New York, New Jersey, and across multiple states through her PSYPACT certification (click here to see the full list). She earned her PsyD. and Master of Science from Hofstra University, graduating Summa Cum Laude, and completed her B.A. in Psychology at Stern College for Women, Yeshiva University. Dr. Assouline is also certified in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International, reflecting her specialized expertise in supporting maternal mental wellness.

Before establishing her private practice, Dr. Assouline completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Achieve Behavioral Health, where she worked with adults facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, OCD, mood disorders, adjustment difficulties, women’s health concerns, and other mental health conditions. She previously trained at Zucker Hillside Hospital, Northwell Health, where she gained extensive experience working with perinatal women navigating mood and anxiety disorders as well as severe mental illness.
Dr. Assouline specializes in anxiety disorders, maternal mental health, and challenges faced by emerging adults. She works with individuals 18 and older, using an integrative therapeutic approach that incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Positive Psychology. More than just treating symptoms, she helps clients recognize their strengths, develop resilience, and build fulfilling, meaningful lives.
